Blast from the past...

My children refuse to believe that I was ever young, so I thought I'd gather a little proof. My mom brought a few family photos and allowed me to scan them, as she is not willing to part with them, just yet.

Tomorrow I hit "44", and while the aging process doesn't send me into a total spin, it is nice to look back over the years. I was young. Once. I think...

Proof enough? Little baby Kimmie...

And to think I criticized Abigail for cutting her bangs...kind of scary!

Check out that afro...our "dating days"

Ahhh...the new parents! Dad is sporting some pretty cool shades...mom remains ever the conservative!

How far we've come!

Well, that was fun! Anyone else game? Ready to travel back in time? I'd love to see your pictures! Read more!

Happy Birthday, Arthur!

Fourteen. 14. One-four.

Wow...how time flies. Born during one of the worst ice storms ever on the Feast of the Holy Innocents. An extremely high stress pregnancy with many complications including a severe kidney defect in my dear boy. A miraculous healing. First born son.

Brilliant...constantly inventing and exploring new ideas. An incredible engineer. Meticulous observation of the rubrics of the Tridentine Mass. Great love for God and family. Responsible and mature. Funny and sensitive.

Thanking God for you today and everyday, my dear young man. Praising God that He, in His infinite wisdom, allowed me the privilege of being your mom. Read more!

Recovered...

What if this had been lost forever?

Or this?

Or even this?

Nearly four years of data (7.5 GB of important stuff!) trapped inside the seemingly-beyond-repair-hulk-of-a-computer...now recovered. Thanks to my dear brother. All of Rylee's baby pictures. Joseph's First Holy Communion. Michael's homeschool Kindergarten graduation. Memories, memories, memories.

Last night, we all reminisced over these lovely images. How much everyone had grown! It's amazing how much changes in a few short years.

So, thanks again, brudda! You are the best!
